Meet Erica — Content & Communications

Some connections begin before we have words for them. As a child, Erica climbed trees, collected stones and rocks, and felt most at home with her hands in the earth. She has been gathering stones for over thirty years, not knowing exactly why, only that something called her to it. An ancestral pull, long before she had a name for it.

Born in Italy with a degree in Communication Sciences, her journey into the spiritual and the sensory deepened during her university years, when an encounter with a shaman opened a door she had long kept closed toward tarot, energy work, and a curiosity about the unseen. That same period brought her into contact with healing herbs and the art of bodywork, planting seeds that would shape everything that followed.

She built her early career as a journalist and writer, several published books, years of editorial work, and a deep belief that words, when chosen with care, can change how people see themselves and the world.

Then came a calling she could not ignore. She left Italy and spent years volunteering in remote areas of Kenya and Uganda, an experience that changed the texture of everything. East Africa worked its way into her bones.

She returned to Europe for a chapter of professional growth, airline sales in Lisbon and hotel management at the Hilton in Edinburgh, roles that refined her communication and deepened her understanding of people across cultures and contexts.

Since 2018, she has been working in digital marketing with a wellness company from Utah, sharing her story through real life experience rather than conventional promotion. This approach brought her to speak on stage at international events and to serve for four years on the company’s athlete council.

But the pull back to the coast was stronger. She returned to Kenya and has been here ever since, developing her wellness brand DAYO around movement, conscious nutrition, and somatic awareness, and deepening practices of yoga, dance, and embodied living that have been part of her life for years.

She first encountered Sea Garden as a client, drawn in through Tisah, whose energy became a quiet guide. That first connection felt like something more than coincidence. And now, as if by magic, Erica is the one caring for Sea Garden’s voice, its communications, its marketing, and its relationship with every person who walks through the door.

For Erica, crystals are not passive objects. They are companions in a shared journey, each one shaped over millions of years, waiting to meet the right person at the right moment.
