In June 2026, Christine became the new owner of Sea Garden Crystals & Minerals, bringing with her more than twenty years of experience in holistic wellbeing, yoga, meditation, humanitarian leadership, and personal transformation. Her journey has taken her across the globe—from a successful career in international finance to leadership roles in humanitarian and peacebuilding initiatives in some of the world's most challenging environments—all guided by a deep commitment to service, wellbeing, and meaningful living.
For Christine, Sea Garden represents a natural continuation of a lifelong path dedicated to helping people reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with what truly matters.
The philosophy From Earth to Home lies at the heart of everything she does. Every crystal and mineral begins its journey deep within the Earth, shaped over millions of years by nature's extraordinary forces. When these treasures find their way into a home, workspace, or personal collection, they often become more than beautiful objects—they become meaningful companions, symbols of intention, connection, and appreciation for the natural world.
Christine's passion for wellbeing began in Switzerland, where she explored psychology, bodywork, yoga, and meditation from an early age. After studying Business Administration in Boston and building a successful career in New York City, she felt called to pursue a deeper purpose. This led her to travel extensively throughout India, Bhutan, and Nepal, immersing herself in yoga, meditation, and ancient wisdom traditions.
It was during this transformative chapter that she first discovered the world of crystals through Indian astrology. A specially selected birthstone, crafted into a necklace in 2007, remains a treasured part of her life today—a reminder of personal growth, intuition, and life's unexpected journeys.
Upon returning from Asia, Christine joined Doctors Without Borders, beginning a humanitarian career that would span more than two decades. Serving as both Financial Director and Country Director, she worked across humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding programmes worldwide, witnessing both profound human suffering and extraordinary resilience.
These experiences deepened her understanding of the vital connection between inner wellbeing, personal growth, and our relationship with the natural world. Alongside her professional work, she continued studying and practising yoga, meditation, breathwork, and other holistic wellbeing modalities.
In recent years, during a period of significant personal challenge and transformation, crystals became a source of comfort, grounding, and inspiration. Around that same time, the opportunity arose to take over Sea Garden Crystals & Minerals. The decision felt immediate and deeply aligned.
Today, Christine and her team carefully curate each crystal and mineral with intention and respect, honouring Sea Garden's mission of bringing exceptional treasures from the Earth into homes where they can inspire, enrich, and be cherished for years to come.
